Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on normalized marks in qualifying degree
- SSB interview for shortlisted candidates
- Medical examination
- Final merit list based on SSB marks and medical clearance
- Candidates must submit proof of completing qualifying degree with minimum 60% marks by email to officer@navy.gov.in prior to 20 Dec 2026

- Keep relevant documents ready: marks sheets, date of birth proof, CGPA conversion formula, NCC 'C' certificate (if applicable), recent passport size photo

- Application once submitted is final; no amendments allowed
- Take printout of application for SSB interview

- Only one application can be filled by a candidate
- Candidates having valid CPL issued by DGCA (India) can apply for Pilot entry
- NCC 'C' certificate holders get 5% relaxation in cut off marks for SSB shortlisting
- Short Service Commission initially for 12 years extendable by maximum 02 years
- Probation period for all branches/cadres is two years
- Use/possession of narcotics is banned and candidates may be tested
- AC 3 tier rail fare admissible for SSB interview if appearing for first time
